Three Summer Trends That Are Sure to Make Your Summer HOT

1. Mixed Prints

Prints have been on trend for a few seasons now, and this summer is all about mixing them up! Mixed prints were seen on the runway last Fall in Robert Rodriguez’s and J. Crew’s collections. Mixing prints can be intimidating, but when done right can look absolutely amazing!  All you need is some confidence and you’ll gain some wardrobe combinations you never thought of before!   Since what we see on the runway isn’t always practical for every day life, here are some ideas on how you can make this trend your own:

This is one of my favorite trends this summer because it adds the perfect amount of sex appeal without looking skimpy.  A simple and small cut out in a dress or top proves one doesn’t have to be naked to look sexy.  The great thing about this trend is that it looks great for both daytime and nighttime wear.

3. Metallics

Metallics sure are having a moment right now, and I am not complaining!  Whether as an accessory, article of clothing or nail polish, the metallic look is so fun and great way to stand out.  However, this is one trend where quality will need to be taken into consideration as the wrong metallic fabric can leave you looking cheap.  Once you find a good metallic material though, you are sure to turn heads!

Which trend are you most excited for this summer? How would you wear it?

I think my favourite is cut outs. I feel like mixed prints would be too loud for me unless I wore them in muted colours! But I really enjoyed this post too 🙂
